Creating a match

The team on the left side of the bracket (Team 01) in the match details screen on the platform must create the game lobby and add their opponents to the lobby.

Please make sure to have enough room on your friend's list before the matches start. This is so that you can add your opponents in-game.

Before creating the match, make sure that the in-game names match those indicated on the Match Details page on D11 Gaming.

Add your Opponent to your PSN friends list by doing the following:

  • Select Friends from the function screen.

  • Select Search and enter the Online ID.

  • Navigate to the player you want to add and select the icon on the right side of their name.

Now it's time to move to the next step. Launch NBA2K21 and select the PlayNow Option.

Move to the far right and select the Play With Friends Online Option.

Once you're on this screen find your opponent's ID and press the X button and select the Invite to Locker room Option.

Now press the Options button on the controller to set the rules of the match to Tournament specified settings.

Once all of that is set you can now move to your team selection screen.

You're now set for the match. Play the game.

Results Upload

At the end of the match, both players need to take a screenshot of the results screen of the match. Please make sure it contains the scores and the names of all the players in the match. You can get this screen at the end of the game, Both players must screenshot the match results and that can be done by navigating to 'game stats' and choosing the 'Score Summary' Option. Upload the screenshot to the match details page, and enter the scores for both you and your opponent. Both teams need to submit results, whether you win or lose.

Final result

Players have 10 minutes after the end of the match to upload their scores. If no player upload results up to 50 minutes after the match start time, or if the result of both teams does not match, the event administrator will take appropriate action.

It is mandatory to upload evidence of victory. If an administrator needs them, you will have to send them to support, and not sending them will result in automatic defeat. You should never accept to play a challenge if you are unsure about compliance with the rules. If you accept the challenge, you assume your final result.

Common questions

Q: 10 minutes have passed and my opponent has not appeared. What should I do?

A: Take a screenshot, upload it at the NBA2K event chat on Discord and talk to @Support. An event administrator will be responsible for checking it and posting the result.

Q: There was a problem and I think my opponent is cheating. What can I do?

A: First, review the rules to see if the problem is covered in them. If it’s not, you should talk to the support in Discord #Support channel, explain the problem, and present as much evidence as possible. Remember that false evidence will result in a penalty and that if you accept or continue a match despite an opponent's mistake/cheat, you will be accepting the result of that and will not be able to claim.

Q: Don't agree with the result. What can I do?

A: Admins decisions are final. If there is a dispute and the admin staff has announced a decision, the rules will be followed and actions taken. Please know that we will always have the community's best interest in mind. In order for events to run smoothly, there are hard decisions that need to be made, and oftentimes rules will need to be strictly followed. Kindly respect the admin decisions and refrain from challenging the final decision during the event, so that the rest of the community are not impacted.

Q: My opponent's game account does not match the one on the page. What should I do to report this?

A: Send a message to @support in the NBA2K event chat in Discord with images showing that your rival is trying to play with another game account.

Q: I can’t submit my result. What can I do?

A: Send a message to @support in the NBA2K event chat in Discord with a screenshot that shows the victory and has proof in case of conflict.
