Creating a match
The team on the left side of the bracket (Team 01) in the match details screen on the platform must create the game lobby and add the opponent as “Friend” on the game platform (PSN) using their “In-Game Name”:
Please make sure to have enough room on your friend's list before the matches start. This is so that you can add your opponents in-game.
On the game platform (PSN) use the “Add Friends” feature and add your opponent using their “In-Game Name”
To accept a Friend request, you must go to “friends Requests” and accept your opponent’s invitation.
In FIFA, go to “Play” menu and choose “Online Friendlies” as the game mode.
Click on “New Friendly Season” and go to the “settings” and change “Squad type” to 90 overall. Next, invite your opponent to the match.
With all players already in the room, change the game configuration to this:
Camera: User Preference
Custom Tactics: Allowed
Custom Formations: Allowed
Tie breaker: In case of a draw players will have to play another match with the golden goal rule, the first player to scores a goal will be the winner.
At the end of the match, both players need to take a screenshot of the results screen of the match. Please make sure it contains the total scores and the names of all the players in the match. You can get this screen at the end of the game or in your game history.
Team captains have 10 minutes after the end of the match to upload their scores. If no team upload results up to 40 minutes after the match start time, or if the result of both teams does not match, the event administrator will take appropriate action.
It is mandatory to upload evidence of victory. If an administrator needs them, you will have to send them to support, and not sending them will result in automatic defeat. You should never accept to play a challenge if you are unsure about compliance with the rules. If you accept the challenge, you assume your final result.
Q: 10 minutes have passed and my opponent has not appeared. What should I do?
A: Take a screenshot, upload it at the FIFA event chat on Discord and talk to @Support. An event administrator will be responsible for checking it and posting the result.
Q: There was a problem and I think my opponent is cheating. What can I do?
A: First, review the rules to see if the problem is covered in them. If it’s not, you should talk to the support in Discord #Support channel, explain the problem, and present as much evidence as possible. Remember that false evidence will result in a penalty and that if you accept or continue a match despite an opponent's mistake/cheat, you will be accepting the result of that and will not be able to claim.
Q: Don't agree with a result. What can I do?
A: Admins decisions are final. If there is a dispute and the admin staff has announced a decision, the rules will be followed and actions taken. Please know that we will always have the community's best interest in mind. In order for events to run smoothly, there are hard decisions that need to be made, and often times rules will need to be strictly followed. Kindly respect the admin decisions and refrain from challenging the final decision during the event, so that the rest of the community are not impacted.
Q: My opponent's game account does not match the one on the page. What should I do to report this?
A: Send a message in the FIFA event chat in Discord with images showing that your rival is trying to play with another game account.
Q: I can’t submit my result. What can I do?
A: Send a message in the FIFA event chat in Discord with a screenshot that shows the victory and has proof in case of conflict.
